About

MEET THE FOUNDER

My name is Moni Veluz, Founder and CEO of MoVe Personal Training LLC in Hollywood, California. Fitness and physical activity have been a major part of my life. At a very young age, I recognized how important it was to lead a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition, education, and experience. Of those three, I consider experience as the most significant educator. Being a dancer/performer in the productions of Evita, Hello Dolly! , South Pacific and in the National Tour of Miss Saigon, I developed a passion to focus on maintaining my body fit and healthy. Collaboration with other fitness professionals and Nutrition Specialists throughout this journey gave me a whole new different perspective of Total Wellness. 

 

I am a Personal Trainer with certifications with AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America), APEX, National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM Foundations) and with the 24 HR Fitness In-Club Certification Program. 

 

With all the knowledge that all these institutions and my own personal experience taught me, I wish to be a part of the lives of those who are looking for answers and long-term results. I look forward to sharing this journey and MoVe into fitness with you.

The Studio

GROUP&CORPORATE CLASSES&WORKSHOPS

Yoga MoVe

A conditioning program that focuses on core strength, balance, endurance and strength while achieving optimum flexibility. 

 

Floor Pilates 

This program focuses on strength training through lengthening skeletal muscles while incorporating balance, coordination and structure. This modality mostly utilizes body weight for resistance.

Kettlebell Classes

This is a combination of core, cardio, strength and power training using kettlebells. 
 

Bootcamp

Interval training is accomplished in this class. Various components make up this program. This is a total body routine that includes  cardio, calisthenics and weights.

Martial Arts MoVement Classes

Movements specific in boxing, karate and Tae Kwon Do are used for cardio respiratory component in this class. This promotes coordination and balance while accomplishing various fitness goals.

Cross-MoVe

Similar to our bootcamp classes, this is a set of exercises in a format unique on the day of instruction. Instructors design a group of exercises performed in absolute number of sets and repetitions. This is a total body workout that focuses on strength, endurance and cardio fitness. 
 

Stretch Class

Yoga-based class that encourages partnering with other exercises. Static and ballistic movements are utilized to improve muscle extensibility and joint stabilization. This particular class increases one’s performance in other modalities. 


Cardio Class

This class focuses mainly on keeping each participant within his/her training heart rate. This system facilitates fat loss, improves endurance and coordination. Gym equipment such as stationary bikes, treadmill, elliptical machines and jumprope are regularly incorporated. Calisthenics exercises are often included in each session.

Tennis Lessons

Each 1-hour session focuses on developing skills in tennis. This dynamic coaching program ensures the development of flexibility, mobility, technique, cardio fitness and coordination with the main goal of improving one's ability to play effectively and safely in this fun sport.
